Leadership
We
are excited about the leadership that God is bringing
to this congregation. In I Corinthians 12:7 we read, "Now
to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for
the common good." We ask that people in positions
of leadership:
-
Have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ
and be committed to that relationship, seeking to live in obedience
to the scriptures.
-
Be committed to the growth of Grace Community Church
and its obedience to Jesus Christ.
-
Be imperfect and willing to learn. We know that God
has gifted everyone and desires our best, but He doesn't
require perfection. What God wants most is a heart willing
to serve and grow.
-
Respond to that which God calls them to do in cooperation
with others in the church. (We do not wish to burn people
out!)
-
Be willing to read and sign the Presbytery of Pueblo
policy on ethics and submit to a background check.
